The Storrow Drive on-ramp to I-93 South will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-93 South should follow posted detour signs via Martha Road and Merrimac Street to the I-93 South on-ramp at New Chardon Street.

Nighttime Ramp Closures

The Haymarket on-ramp to I-93 South and the Callahan Tunnel will be closed at night Monday, June 30, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:00 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-93 South, Route 1A, East Boston, and Logan Airport should follow posted detour signs towards Leverett Circle. At Leverett Circle motorists should access I- 93 South. Those destined for Route 1A, East Boston, and Logan Airport should take Exit 24 off I-93 South.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

Nighttime Ramp Closure

I-93 South Exit 23 to Purchase Street will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.

Drivers will be detoured to Exit 20 A, South Station.

This closure is for utility and maintenance work.

 I-93 South Exit #20 A South Station and #20B to I-90 (MassPike) West and Albany Street
Nighttime Ramp Closures


I-93 South Exits #20 A South Station and #20B to I-90 (Masspike) West and Albany Street will be closed and detoured at night Monday, June 30, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 West and South Station/Chinatown should stay on I-93 South and reverse direction at Exit 18 (Mass Ave Exit). Stay in the left lane of Exit 18 and turn left onto the South Boston Bypass Road. Drivers should then turn left again onto Frontage Road northbound and follow signs for I-90 West, Albany Street or South Station.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

I-93 North Exit #26 to Storrow Drive will be closed and detoured at night Monday, June 30, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for Storrow Drive will be detoured to Exit 28 (Sullivan Square) and should follow the posted detour via Rutherford Avenue and Gilmore Bridge to Leverett Circle.

I-93 North Exit #23 to Government Center will be closed and detoured at night Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for Government Center will be detoured to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive) and should follow the posted detour via Nashua Street, Martha Road and Merrimac Street to Government Center.

Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Essex Street on-ramp to I-93 North will be closed at night Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 10 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists should follow I-93 North signs via Essex Street and Atlantic Avenue to the on-ramp at Cross Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

 I-93 North Exit #20 to I-90 East (Masspike)
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp at I-93 North Exit #20 to I-90 East will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008; Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the next morning. One lane will be closed at 10 PM. Access to Kneeland Street/ South Station will remain open.

Motorists should use Exit #20 to Kneeland Street/ South Station and take a right on Kneeland to Atlantic Avenue and take a right on Summer Street and follow signs to the I-90 East on-ramp in South Boston.

This closure is to allow for utility and maintenance work.

Nighttime lane closures will take place on I-90 (MassPike) East near the Sheraton in Newton from Sunday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:00 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

This allows for maintenance work.

 I-90 (MassPike) East HOV Tunnel to Logan Airport
Nighttime Closure

The I-90 East high occupancy vehicle (HOV) tunnel to Logan Airport will be at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 10 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

HOVs traveling on I-93 North should take Exit 20 to I-90 East/Logan Airport. HOVs destined for I-90 East from Downtown Boston or I-93 South should follow the signage to I-90 East from Albany.

HOV access from I-93 North to the South Station Transportation Center and Kneeland Street remains open.

This closure allows for utility and maintenance work.

 I-90 (Masspike) East Exit #24 B and C to I-93 North and South
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp at I-90 East Exit #24 B and C to I-93 North and South will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the next morning. Access to Kneeland Street/ South Station will remain open.

Drivers destined for I-93 North and South should use Exit #24A to South Station. Those headed for I- 93 North should stay straight on Atlantic Ave to the I-93 North on-ramp at the Seaport Boulevard intersection. Drivers destined for I-93 South should turn left onto Kneeland Street towards Chinatown to access the I-93 South on-ramp at Albany Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

Nighttime Ramp Closure

Access from Frontage Road and Albany Street to I-90 East and Logan Airport will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008; Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 East, South Boston and Logan Airport should follow Frontage Road North to Atlantic Avenue to Summer Street and D Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

 Ramp from South Boston to I-90 East and Logan Airport
Nighttime Ramp Closure

Access from South Boston to I-90 East and Logan Airport will be closed at night Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 East and Logan Airport should follow the posted detour via the South Boston Bypass Road to the I-90 East on-ramp at Frontage Road.

This closure is to allow for maintenance work.

 I-90 (MassPike) West near Exit 18/19 at Cambridge Street Bridge
Lane Closures and Changes

One lane will be closed 24 hours a day for approximately one month on I-90 (MassPike) West just west of Interchange 19. A second lane will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 9 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

The month-long lane closure allows for crews to repair the Cambridge Street Bridge.

 Copley Street On-ramp to I-90 (MassPike) West
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Copley Street on-ramp to I-90 (MassPike) West will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Traffic should use the Clarendon Street on-ramp.

This closure is to allow for inspection and repair work.

 Albany Street On-Ramp to I-90 West
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Albany Street on-ramp to I-90 West (Masspike) will be closed at night on Monday, June 30, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists should follow posted detour signs to I-90 West along Albany Street, and Broadway.

This closure is to allow for bridge repair work.

 Congress Street (So. Boston) to I-93 and I-90 West Exit #24 to I-93
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The on-ramp from Congress Street to I-93 in South Boston and the I-90 West Exit 24 to I-93 will be closed to traffic at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists traveling from Congress Street and I-90 West to I-93 North will be detoured via B Street and Seaport Boulevard to the I-93 North on-ramp. Those traveling to I-93 South will be detoured via D Street to Summer Street and Surface Road to the I-93 South on-ramp at Albany St. on Monday and at Essex St. on Tuesday.

This closure will allow for maintenance and utility work.

 I-90 (MassPike) East and West Maintenance and Inspections
Daytime Lane Closures

For the next several months maintenance crews will be doing repair work on sections of I-90 (MassPike) East and West from the I-90/I-93 Interchange in Boston to the New York State line during the day from 7 AM/ 9 AM (depending on location) to 3 PM weekdays.

Construction work zones will require lane closures to do the highway repair work. Much of the work needs to be completed in dry weather.

Nighttime Lane Closures

Lanes will be closed on I-90 (MassPike) East and West near the Prudential Tunnel near Exit 22 and will extend to the I-90/I-93 Interchange at night Sunday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 10:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

This allows crews to do repair work and maintenance work.

 I-90 (MassPike) East and West Near the Ted Williams Tunnel
Daytime Lane Closures

One lane of I-90 (MassPike) Tunnel East and West near the Ted Williams Tunnel will be closed during the day Monday, June 29, 2008 through Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM.

This closure is to allow for bridge reconstruction and inspection work.

 Paving and Ramp Widening Project Near Rt. 495/Exits 11 and 12: Hopkinton and Westborough
Daytime and Nighttime Lane Closures

A pavement resurfacing and ramp widening project is under construction near Route 495 between exits 11 and 12, from Mile 104.9 to 107.2 in Hopkinton and Westborough on the eastbound and westbound sides of the MassPike.

Single lane closures will be required Monday through Wednesday westbound between 6:00am and 2:30pm and eastbound between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Multi-lane closures will be required eastbound and westbound Monday through Wednesday between 7:00pm and 5:00am.

 Harrison Avenue and Washington Street Bridge Reconstruction
Lane Closures and Changes

The four lanes on Washington Street and Harrison Avenue are reduced to two lanes traveling on the newly constructed bridge deck. The Harrison Avenue Bridge has been reconfigured to allow two-way traffic.

These lane closures and changes are to allow for the Harrison Avenue and Washington Street bridge deck replacement work through the fall.

Nighttime Lane Closures

The Congress Street on-ramp to I-93 South and I-90 West will be closed at night Monday, June 30, 2008 and Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 11:00 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 West should follow detour signs along Surface Road to the on-ramp at Albany Street. To access I-93 South, motorists use the on-ramp at Essex or Herald Street.

The Sumner Tunnel on-ramp to Storrow Drive will be closed and detoured at night Monday, June 30, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning. Sumner Tunnel access to Haymarket will remain open.

Sumner Tunnel drivers headed to Storrow Drive should follow posted detour signs via New Chardon, Merrimac and Nashua Streets.

This closure is for maintenance and utility work.

The Sumner Tunnel on-ramp to Government Center and Haymarket area will be closed at night Sunday, June 29, 2008; Tuesday, July 1, 2008 and Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 10:00 PM (11:30 PM on Sunday) to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists will be detoured to the Storrow Drive ramp, should keep left toward Route 28/ Cambridge, then bear right and follow posted detour signs to Government Center and the North End via Nashua Street.

This closure is to allow for maintenance and utility work.
